Travel with US voucher

The Travel with US Voucher can be used towards air travel on US Airways, US Airways Shuttle, and US Airways Express. The voucher can be written one of two ways:

For routing-based travel - this option is good for stand-by or confirmed travel, one-way or roundtrip passage, and/or coach, envoy, or first class accommodations on a specific routing,

or

For dollar-based travel - this option is good for a specified dollar amount towards the purchase of a ticket on the above carriers or their codeshare partners.

Instructions for redemption

  • To redeem your Travel with US Voucher, you may purchase your ticket at any US Airways ticket counter, the US Airways City Ticket Office, or through Reservations.
  • Inform the agent that you have a Travel with US Voucher so that accurate pricing information can be provided.
  • Present the Travel with US Voucher with payment at the time of purchase.
  • Travel with US Vouchers may not be used when purchasing a ticket online.

General information and restrictions

  • Dollar-based travel is eligible for Dividend Miles credit.
  • Must be redeemed within one year from date of issue (unless noted differently on voucher).
  • May not be combined with another Travel with US Voucher or any other document.
  • Transferable as a gift if a passenger name has not been entered on voucher.
  • Value of Travel with US Voucher is non-refundable and has no cash value.

Terms & conditions

How to use:

  1. May be transferred to another individual prior to redemption as long as the 'passenger name' box is blank.
  2. If a dollar value is indicated, it may be used towards the price of one ticket/one fare on US Airways, US Airways Shuttle, US Airways Express and codeshare partners. If the price of the ticket is greater than the value of the voucher, you simply pay the difference. If the discount exceeds the price of the ticket, no residual will be given.
  3. If a routing-based voucher is being issued, it may be used for the options indicated on the voucher on US Airways, US Airways Shuttle and US Airways Express. Not permitted on any other codeshare flights.
  4. Travel must be via the most direct routing available.
  5. Travel dates must be determined prior to ticketing.
  6. Call Reservations if you have any questions about the use of this voucher and/or to make your reservations. Inform them you will be using the Travel with US Voucher.
  7. You must notify the Reservations agent if you are using a 'space available' voucher. If a confirmed reservation is booked, you will be required to pay the current fare and forfeit the voucher.
  8. Redeem this voucher at any US Airways ticketing location.
  9. You will need picture ID to use this voucher.

Not allowed:

  1. No stopovers permitted.
  2. Cannot be combined with any other Travel with US voucher or any other document.
  3. Not applicable toward service or penalty changes.
  4. Not applicable towards the reissue of a previously issued ticket.
  5. Prepaid Ticket Service (PTA) not permitted.
  6. Not applicable towards a US Airways Vacations package.

Additional information:

  1. The voucher and subsequent tickets issued against it are nonrefundable and have no cash value.
  2. Not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed.
  3. Changes are subject to ticketing rules. All terms and conditions must be met. A change fee may apply.
  4. 'Space available' passengers are not eligible for compensation resulting from any irregularity nor is US Airways liable for loss or damage to personal property.
  5. All applicable taxes, surcharges and fees are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid when the ticket is issued.
  6. Voucher must be redeemed within one year from date of issue.
  7. Terms and conditions of this voucher are subject to charge without notice.
