Oil prices

Fight skyrocketing oil prices

Skyrocketing oil prices impact everyone. There are many factors that contribute to high prices, but many experts agree that the most immediate remedy is reigning in the reckless practice of oil speculation commodities trading.

US Airways, along with most other major U.S. airlines, is urging Congress to regulate oil speculation and implement common-sense legislation to close loopholes and bring transparency to oil trading. Lowering oil prices will take a combination of efforts, including increasing domestic oil production, alternative energy sources, and conservation; however, oil speculation reform is the quickest solution.
